Podcast interviews were recorded using Zoom recorders, ambiance production, voice editing, and mix/mastering – all within FL Studio.
My group and I had to create a podcast from the ground up. I handled interviews with our guests and recorded the podcast’s intro and outro. Afterward, I got busy cleaning up the vocal recordings with denoising and equalization. My biggest and most significant task was creating ambient elements to suit the interview stories. I went for an eerie vibe to match the darker topics but also kept it bright and uplifting when the tone shifted, guiding the listener away from the podcast’s darker themes.
